The Discovery Voyages are for those without prior scuba experience.  Our scuba instructors will introduce you to the wonders of life below the surface with the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Course.  Small groups start with the basics in shallow, calm, clear waters and you progress at your own pace.  After you gain confidence and skills, we demonstrate what we have learned in the shallows in deeper water for our certification. Then we can explore the spectacular walls, pinnacles, seamounts and shipwrecks throughout the archipelago.

You will next begin expanding your diver education with exciting the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. During the course you will be surprised by the nocturnal life during night dives, learn to safely plan deep dives using both tables and your dive computer, explore the many shipwrecks that call the British Virgin Islands home, and learn to navigate underwater using both a compass and natural features. What the heck was that?' is one of the most commonly asked questions of surfacing divers and during the underwater naturalist dives we explore the diversity of life in the sea, with training to identify the common fishes, creatures, and corals.

Using the islands' reefs, mangroves, turtle grass beds and tidal pools as the ultimate educational laboratory, a hands-on marine science program is presented by staff marine biologists. Vessels are outfitted for underwater investigation with wet labs, computer facilities, dive station, microscopes and reference resources. The program is designed to interconnect our SCUBA training activities with marine science topics.

But, lets not forget about the above water activities.  You will be living aboard a comfortable 45-foot sailing catamaran fully equipped for fun.  There is a windsurfer, kayak aboard and a ski boat in tow.  Our Trip Leaders will gladly teach you how to wake or knee board and water-ski.  Learning to sail is necessary as it is our means of transport between the islands and dive sites.  Your skipper will instruct you through the steps to safely navigate your way, and why sailing a zigzag is often shorter than a straight line You are a part of the crew in training and each day brings new responsibilities and adventure.

As the day ends, you and your shipmates will watch for the green flash while sharing the days' discoveries and planning your next adventure.
